The volume of prospecting works on Yamal is increased.

In department of prirodno-resource regulation and wood relations YANAO have informed that poiskovo-estimated and prospecting works in district territory on the beginning of October, 2010 spent 29 enterprises on 52 license sites. In drilling there were 55 chinks, from them are begun by drilling of 42 chinks, 25 chinks are finished.

In 2010 the volume of poiskovo-estimated and prospecting drilling on region has made 125 510 running meters of rocks that makes 72 % from planned volume and 156 % of volume of the similar period of last year.
From 142 objects finished by test are productive 80 (presence of hydrocarbons in any combination), that is, 56 % from total of the tested objects, 40 objects water-bearing (16 objects with signs UV), from 22 objects of inflows aren't received.

In 2010 the volume of the executed field seismoprospecting works as a method 2D has made – 7 192,02 пог. Km, i.e. 92 % of the planned amount of works, and 68,7 % of amount of works of the similar period of 2009.
The volume of the executed field seismoprospecting works as a method 3D has made – 6 795,70 km2 – 85,2 % of the planned amount of works and 107 % of amount of works of the similar period of 2009 (6 363,10 km2).

Except field seismoprospecting works in 2010 vertical seismoprofiling (VSP) in 8 chinks is spent; гравиразведка in volume 756 km2; geochemical shooting in volume 730 km2; electroprospecting works in volume 200 Km.
