Perspective services of Mail of Russia show stable growth

Under the data received by the All-Russia center of studying of public opinion during spent poll in July, 2010, 62 % of Russians are happy with work of Mail of Russia, 31 % have noted positive changes in work of the post operator in the last two days.

Mail of Russia has brought industrial results of the first half of the year 2010. Results of work of the enterprise show stable positive dynamics of the most perspective and profitable services of the federal post operator. Them concerns, in particular, universal services of a mail service (the letter, the parcel post simple and custom-made), transfer of parcels, postal orders, reception of utility bills, express delivery of departures «EMS», services in reception of payments and a subdivion.

So, the quantity of the accepted and processed express departures «EMS» in 1st half-year 2010 has made 12 600 units that on 20 % there are more than indicators of the similar period of 2009. Following the results of subdivion campaign 1 thousand copy of periodicals have subscribed for the second half of the year 2010 yamalpeoples on 82.

Stability shows also universal services of a mail service, among which letters, parcels post simple and certified mails. In the first half of the year 2010 inhabitants of autonomous region have sent through branches of a mail service more than 2 million correspondence, in comparison with 2009, there was an insignificant decrease in volumes. As a whole such situation is observed in the majority of regions of the country, in connection with refusal of private persons of traditional correspondence. The tendency to reduction of quantity of sent private correspondence is caused by increase of computer literacy of the population and penetration of broadband access into the Internet which thus was outlined growth of volumes of sent corporate mail yet does not compensate to the full reduction of volumes of private correspondence.

Let's notice that service in transfer of parcels, despite some falling on all territory of Russia, caused by economic crisis influence (23,7 million parcels in 1st half-year 2010 that on 4 % is less, than in 1st half-year 2009), Management of mail service ЯНАО has mentioned to a lesser degree. As a whole the given line of activity is considered by Mail of Russia as one of perspective directions of the development, caused intensive growth of the market of remote trade which is observed now and expected in intermediate term prospect. So, growth international mails in the first half of the year has made 136 %.

For achievement of the commercial priorities Mail of Russia conducts active work on strengthening of the market positions, including at the expense of improvement of quality of services rendered by the enterprise, a conclusion of new products and start of new services. In the end of 1st half-year 2010 Mail of Russia has entered the market of urgent remittances, having started a new product "Forcing". It is supposed that start of a new product during a season of summer holidays when citizens most actively send money, will strengthen enterprise positions, first of all, in a segment of "immediate translations" on which Mail to these has not been presented. Also it is planned that product introduction will fix position of Mail of Russia in the market of remittances on which the share of the federal post operator following the results of 2009 has made 45 %. On speed of passage postal orders "Forcing" will not concede to similar products of leaders of the market of remittances, and in quantity of points of service and geography of granting of service – will surpass competitors.

Besides, the federal post operator develops the concept of reorganization of the control system with a view of increase of its efficiency and achievement of the fullest conformity to market realities and creations of possibilities for realization of the most important and perspective projects, in particular the project on creation of Post bank.
