New Urengoj is ready to opening of a beach season

On July, 6th the head of department on affairs of a civil defence and emergency situations of the City administration New Urengoj Andrey Ivanov has held press conference.

The basic theme of a meeting with local journalists — safety of people on water during the summer period of 2010 is rather actual, as in New Urengoe, at last, there have come rather summer warm days and townsmen spend a free time at reservoirs more and more, informs information-analytical management.

In spite of the fact that in a city taking into account environmental conditions, short duration of a swimming season and fast variability русел the rivers the equipment of special places for bathing according to requirements of norms of the Russian legislation is impossible, Management on affairs of a civil defence and emergency situations annually according to the assigned powers with a view of an exception of accidents on natural water objects spends a number of preventive actions.

Andrey Ivanov has noticed that in New Urengoe is defined six places of mass rest of the population at water, but with an interdiction for bathing, all of them will be equipped by booths for disguise having a rest, garbage containers, public order protection will be provided with mobile patrols of the Department of Internal Affairs on a city New Urengoj.

In case of need at carrying out of actions for the organisation of search and rescue of people forces and municipal authority means «Service of emergency reaction» are involved.

Having a rest at the reservoirs, each townsman should know and strictly observe elementary rules of behaviour and a security measure on water:

- Do not leave children at water without supervision of adults;

- Do not approach close to coast in a state of intoxication and the more so do not bathe;

- Abstain from bathing in the reservoirs unknown and not intended for this purpose;

- Do not push companions from coast, towers, springboards in water;
- It is forbidden to spend games in the water, connected with capture;
- Do not lead up itself to overcooling and overfatigue.
