Yamal shows economic growth

The Federal State Statistics Service of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area carried out an assessment of economic and social situation of the region for January-May, 2013.

Following the results of the first five months in the district 6,9 million tons of natural gas unstable condensate that exceeds indicators of the similar period of last year for 20% were extracted. Thus volumes of production of natural gas and oil practically didn't change, and made 239 bcm and 9 million tons respectively. For 60% production and electric power distribution (2963,4 kWh increased. ) .

In certain spheres of the Yamal animal husbandry and poultry farming lifting also is noted. So, the livestock of pigs (3007 heads), and also than sheep and goats (95 heads) became 5,5% more. (For 45%), to 11570 heads, the Yamal poultry breeders achieved a considerable gain. For 71,6% production of eggs increased, and reached 126 thousand pieces.

For the first five months of the current year, in comparison with the similar period of last year, agricultural producers of the district realized 2,8 times more vegetables, is 20,2% more than cattle and a bird (in live weight). Experts connect such significant successes with implementation of the program of Food security.

From January to May the organizations of all forms of ownership, including individual builders, in the district constructed 1094 new apartments with a total area of 62176 sq.m. By the corresponding period of 2012 commissioning of houses in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area increased by 3,5 times.

Besides, the district population at the expense of own and borrowed funds constructed 8122 sq.m of total area of houses that made 13,1% from the total amount of the entered housing in the current period.
