Take care, thin ice! All yamalets urge to adhere to safety rules on water

From November 6 to November 17, 2012 the department of fire safety and civil protection of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug together with Yamalspas's rescuers organized around a ferry ice crossing through Ob round-the-clock watch.

Experts supervise observance of rules of protection and safety of life of people in areas of possible unauthorized transitions of people and crossings of vehicles through ice-covered water objects.

The staff of specialized department noted the numerous facts of violation by inhabitants of rules of crossing of water objects, people independently move on thin, still to weak ice.

The department management in connection with the events addresses to all yamalets with the earnest request: it is obligatory to observe safety rules when crossing water objects. It is strictly forbidden to pass and pass on thin ice. It is necessary to use the ice equipped crossings or the laid tracks. For transition of the person ice in thickness not less than 7 cm and with a specific greenish shade is safe.

Between Salekhard and Labytnangi now is available the admissible and possible means of communication is unique is a flight by the helicopter. Special airbags are prepared for transportation, their flights are planned to be carried out soon.
