On Yamal earned the first oncological center

The oncological center took place on the basis of Salekhard district clinical hospital.

According to the head of department of the organization of medical care of district department of health care Mikhail Savchenko, today in structure of incidence, disability and mortality of northerners of an onkozabolevaniye take a leading place. "It demands need of carrying out organizational and personnel work, equipment of treatment-and-prophylactic establishments, – he noted. – Opening of the new center will allow to carry out early diagnostics, timely and effective treatment of oncological diseases". Earlier patients with cancer tumors sent to other regions that ran into money.

Now for the center the necessary medical equipment and medicines, including for chemotherapy are acquired. These are those drugs, which patients can't buy as cost of one bottle of a preparation fluctuates from 200 to 500 thousand rubles. Further it is planned to open intermunicipal oncological offices in the cities of Yamal.
