The genernalnyj plan of Salekhard will be updated

Updatings of the general layout of Salekhard have discussed the day before at town-planning council session at the governor of Yamal-Nenets autonomous region.

«The district center grows. For last eight years population has increased by 20 percent. Now in Salekhard lives over 43 thousand persons, – the governor of Yamal Dmitry Kobylkin hasn'ted. – That the city dynamically developed and under construction, the thought over and verified general plan is necessary. It should keep continuity with existing city map, to consider requirement for preservation of a historical part, to define territories for perspective housing construction, including individual. It is important to designate a network of social establishments, especially kindergartens which so are necessary for a growing city. New updatings of the general layout also should consider and requirement for creation of comfortable conditions for a traffic without stoppers».

The governor has especially underlined that the new general plan of district capital should consider prospects of realization of large-scale projects which already started in autonomous region territory. Speech first of all about prospects of development of the project «Ural Mountains industrial – Ural Mountains Polar» which provides building of a railroad line and a network of highways, is transferred by the press-service of the governor of Yamal.
