The Yamal national team traditionally representing Russia on the Arctic Winter games has returned with considerable achievements. This year participants of competitions from Russia, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Greenland, Alaska were met by the Canadian city of Grand-Prejri. Yamalpeople have acted in 7 of 21 kinds of sports, having won 64 medals. As well as last years as a part of the Yamal national team there were labytnangi sportsmen. 20 gold and 3 silver medals — such is the contribution to a general victory of pupils of Specialized detsko-youthful sports school of an Olympic reserve — biathlonists of Nazara Klimchuka, Natalia Kuznetsovoj, Ivan Mehovnikova, Evgenii Smirnovoj, skier Christina Ilchenko, and also tennis player Vitaly Ivchenko.

The meeting of Mayor Nikolay Pivovarova and deputies of the Municipal duma as a whole has been devoted achievements and successes of children, their preparation for competitions and impressions of performances. As the receiving party who was the strongest contender as coped with excitement met, than treated that was remembered most of all, say, each trifle interested. Trainers Alexey Zakoljukin and Tatyana Maksimova accompanying children with pride have told about victories of each pupil.
