Yamalpeoples will participate in the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sochi

Young yamalpeoples comprising Consolidated Russian children's choir will perform at the closing ceremony of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014.

Invitation to become a member of the "Olympic" chorus resonated a huge number of people in Russia. More than 10,000 candidates from all over the country have expressed their desire to go to Sochi in 2014. Among these young talents and Yamal. On qualifying competition evaluated the achievements of leading children's choirs Yamal of Noyabrsk Novy Urengoy and Nadym region.

By the end of the qualifying competition in the Consolidated Russian children's choir from the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District will include representatives of exemplary children's choir "The Shining" children's art school № 2 of Novy Urengoy, the press service of the autonomous area.

Note that the children's choir rehearsal Consolidated Russia are from 2 to 11 January 2014 on a new stage of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. At one of the rehearsals visited Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying he was "very surprised that so many young people so cool performing works that we all know."

"Thousandth chorus sounds like a single instrument. I congratulate you."- said Vladimir Putin, speaking to children.

Artistic director of the Mariinsky Theatre Valery Gergiev in conversation with the President of the Russian Federation said that the chorus is created for the country and the Russian culture for the national musical tradition. "We plan to address this chorus, let it will vary its quantitative composition - guys can be a thousand, five hundred, three hundred, but they represent all regions of Russia, and they're great to sing," - said the famous conductor.

Note that in February this year, the guys continue to rehearse, including the final song of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi already.

It is planned that the Russian children's choir will be a permanent team and will participate in the largest domestic cultural projects, festivals and competitions, as well as in international events, representing the Russian Federation, including celebrations of national holidays, anniversaries.
