The Olympic rings decorated Salekhard and Novy Urengoy

Salekhard and Novy Urengoy were included into number of the cities in which architectural forms in the form of big Olympic rings – the main symbol of Olympic Games are established.

From October of the 2013th to January, 2014 the Olympic symbols will take place on a route of relay of Olympic flame "Sochi 2014" in Kaluga, Ryazan, Naryan-Mar, Novy Urengoy, Perm, Kirov, Voronezh, Astrakhan, Grozny and Sochi. Salekhard is also included in number of the cities where the main Olympic symbol is established. Let's note, rings will decorate the cities up to the end of the Olympic winter Games of 2014.

Symbols of the Olympic Games are established in brisk and popular places of the cities. So, in Novy Urengoy the big metal design from five color rings is placed into the square around the sports Star complex in northern part of the city. And in Salekhard the Olympic rings are placed into Bridge "Torch" and into the square at the building of the Government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area.

By tradition the Olympic rings appear in each capital of Games prior to competitions. In 2008 the Olympic symbols decorated the Great Wall, in 2010 took place on the bank of the Canadian bay of Koalas Harbor, and in 2012 they decorated the main sights not only London, but also other cities of the United Kingdom. The organizing committee "2014" expanded with Sochi geography of installation of the Olympic rings, showing that Games in Sochi are property of all country.
