On Yamal performed the first hi-tech operation

Traumatologists of November city hospital for the first time performed hi-tech operation, having executed endoproasthesis replacement of a coxofemoral joint at once to three patients.

The master class for the Yamal surgeons was given by the manager of office of traumatology and orthopedics of the Kaliningrad regional clinical hospital, the chief orthopedist of the Kaliningrad region Alexander Anurin.

Before operation each patient passed special inspection and preoperative selection of an implant. Traumatologists applied the modern endoprostheses of a coxofemoral joint made of a titanic alloy.

Experts note that carrying out this operation allows to restore the lost function of an extremity and to return the person to habitual life.

"All conditions for successful carrying out operations on endoprosthesis replacement of a coxofemoral joint in November hospital are. This excellent equipment, and the main thing – highly qualified specialists who have certificates on carrying out this type of operations", - was told by Alexander Anurin.

The need for similar operations for the city and the district is very great. According to medical institutions, today about two hundred inhabitants of Yamal need their carrying out. Already in the first quarter 2014 November doctors intend to perform six planned operations such.
