All ferries which have got stuck in ices of Ob, are released

Rescuers managed to get out of ice captivity on a crossing through Ob on Yamal already three of five ferries transporting people and cars, the representative of a regional central board of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

Earlier it was reported that on a crossing between the cities of Salekhard and Labytnangi because of the formed sludge ice (small floating ice) five ferries onboard which there were 30 passengers, six crew members and 40 cars (on eight on each vessel) got stuck at once.

"On 12.32 Moscow time remained held down two ferries, works on their release" are conducted — the interlocutor of agency told, having added that victims aren't present.

According to him, evacuated from ferries to Salekhard people will be delivered in Labytnangi by Yamal airline helicopter.
