On Yamal three winter roads from four are closed

From 22.04.2013 winter roads on routes "by Labytnangi – Muzhi – Azova - Tags", "Salekhard-Nadym" and "Aksarka – Salemal – Panayevsk – Yar-Sal" are officially closed. Workers began dismantle of landmarks and road signs on winter routes. For safety of inhabitants till April 30 check-points will function.

As the employee reported State Unitary Enterprise Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area Yamalavtodor which Aksarka – Salemal – Panayevsk Yar-Sal" is on duty on a winter road check point ", now all hope of consciousness of citizens and of surveillance cameras by whom the check points points are equipped. "Earlier the conflicts arose with drivers who even according to technical data sheet didn't pass on weight on the route. Now them became in times less, people are disciplined by existence of such type of control", – the employee of check-point shared.

On enlarged working meeting in road management of the district heads of the contract organizations serving winter roads, offered a number of transformations. In their opinion, installation of points of weight control on a check point will help with fight against violators and will prevent possible accidents on so specific route as the winter highway.

From district road management the complex of offers in turn arrived. "It is necessary to approve instructions for use by winter roads at district level, – the first deputy head of management of road economy of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area Maxim Pershikov is sure. – For control of observance of rules, involvement of traffic police is inevitable. For protection of drivers from should be attracted the staff of Department of Internal Affairs for the prevention of unauthorized journey through control point. To give the legitimate status of a check point that the employee of point had the right to stop the violator and not to let on the winter road in case of movement restriction".

Now the checkpoint officer has the right to warn the driver about a condition of the winter highway, to acquaint the user with the order on the restrictions entered on a route, to give out a behavior instruction on the winter road, to write down vehicle coordinates in the registration magazine. If to expand powers of the employee of check point, the situation with unauthorized journey on winter highways will be ordered.

Since next winter season all equipment serving winter roads, for control of intensity of work and watch observance on a route will be equipped with GLONASS system. Besides, the system of supervision will allow to trace car movement - "scout" who plies on all route for identification of the cars suffering disaster.

Now the main care of contract organizations – not to allow motor transport on the closed seasonal roads. Experts urge drivers to pay attention to parameters still working routes.

On an ice crossing through Ob according to the message "Salekhard – Labytnangi" is closed movement for automobile vehicles. Movement only for all-wheel drive vehicles is opened. For trucks movement weighing up to 20 tons is opened. The crossing will be closed for all vehicles current week in connection with establishment of above-zero temperature of air.

Due to the increase of daytime temperature of air on a route "Urengoy – Krasnoselkup" movement for not all-wheel drive automobile vehicles is forbidden. Movement for cargo vehicles is authorized from 23:00 to 06:00 o'clock. Journey is open for all-wheel drive cars from 18:00 to 06:00 o'clock until further notice.
