On Yamal winter road not easy

In connection with weather conditions – air rise in temperature – movement on winter road on Yamal is limited. Now the special equipment clears away and rolls a snow cloth of lines. Works are conducted on sites of 110 km and 290 km winter road «by Labytnangi – Muzhi – Tegi», for 80 km winter road «Aksarka – Salemal – Panaevsk – Jar-fat» and on four tundra sites winter road «Salekhard – Nadym».

On a winter highway «Labytnangi – Muzhi – Tegi» movement is opened only for cargo all-wheel drive vehicles.

On winter road «– Salemal – Panaevsk – Jar-fat» is entered by Aksarka restriction for cars in weight over 25 tons. Automobile transport can move on зимнику only accompanied by cargo all-wheel drive cars.

Since March, 30th movement on winter road «Salekhard – Nadym» is limited: from 8.00 till movement is opened only for all-wheel drive cars in weight to 3,5 tons. From 20.00 till for all-wheel drive vehicles in weight to 25 tons and caterpillar transport in weight to 41 tons.
