The ice drift approaches to Salekhard

Today, on May 16, according to messages of district Hydrometeorological center on the river Big Ob borders of an ice drift are observed in the Shuryshkarsky area above the village Pitlyar, it in 70 km from the city of Salekhard and 360 km from the mouth of Ob Bay; in Salekhard on Ob the ice motion is noted.

In the Purovsky area Erkal-Nadey-Pur river, river inflow Pur, was cleared of ice. The ice drift head now is a little above the settlement Halyasavey.

On the river Synya in the Shuryshkarsky area in the settlement Ovgort 20 % of an ice drift are registered. In the Nadym area on the river Nadym закраины 10 %.

In the Tazovsky area the technological avtozimnik is closed for operation. All 6 ice crossings located on this avtozimnik were surveyed by inspectors of GIMS Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia across the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and are recognized are unsuitable for operation.

The head department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia across the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug convincingly asks inhabitants of the autonomous region to observe rules of own safety on spring ice and when passing ice drift!
