The head of Yamal Dmitry Kobylkin, having returned from a working trip to Finland, has noticed that a number of the meetings which have taken place in this country, was very useful to updating of plans on development of tourist business in Yamal-Nenets autonomous region.

Working visit of Governor YANAO to Finland has taken place under the invitation of representatives of a consortium "Sofi" from January, 10 till January, 11th. Yesterday in Helsinki have passed the next meetings with representatives of the largest companies of Finland in the field of building, in particular, buildings of wooden houses, architecture and design, the companies-suppliers of all necessary for hotel business and with potential investors. During party negotiations have confirmed intention to put a maximum of efforts for activization of development of tourist industry on Yamal and have discussed a number of measures on attraction of tourists in the Yamal edge.

Yesterday Dmitry Kobylkina's working meeting with the minister of economy and work of Finland Mauri Pekkarinenom who supervises tourism development in this country has taken place, the press-service of governor ЯНАО informs. Participation in a meeting which has passed in the Center on development of tourism of Finland, the chairman of intergovernmental working group Finland – Yamal from the Finnish party (this working group exists within the limits of the intergovernmental commission Russia – Finland), the operating director of the company "Aker Arctic technology" also has accepted Mikko Niini. At a meeting have in detail discussed social and economic interaction in sphere of tourism and, in particular, measures on more active positioning of unique potential of Yamal are considered. The minister of economy and work of Finland has sounded the data following the results of 2010: the quantity of tourists from Russia, visited last year Finland, has exceeded one million person, in economic expression is over 500 million euro which have arrived in the Finnish treasury. The governor of Yamal has once again underlined that experience of development of sphere of tourism is extremely interesting and useful to the Yamal party: "… we only in the way beginning. We do the first steps in this direction. But we know that potential of Yamal in sphere of tourism the huge. This business all over the world is highly remunerative branch of economy. Development of this direction – an important and perspective part of work of the Government of district".
