Railway building Nadym-Salekhard will begin this year

Building of a railroad line Nadym – Salekhard is planned to begin this year. The authorities of Yamal have addressed in the Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation about inclusion of building of a highway Nadym – Salekhard in the Federal target program.

Erection of railroad tracks Nadym – Salekhard passes in frameworks of realisation of a megaproject «Ural Mountains industrial - Ural Mountains Polar». It will allow to connect Northern and Sverdlovsk railways. Bridge transition through the river Nadym is a key element of a regional highway Surgut – Salekhard and a railroad line site New Urengoj – Nadym – Salekhard – Labytnangi, «the Tyumen line» reports.

Building of a highway Salekhard – New Urengoj – Surgut is provided by Transport strategy of the Russian Federation till 2030. Within the limits of realisation of Transport strategy and the program "Cooperation" in 2010 highway building Pangody - Pravohettinsky will proceed. Bridge transition will be entered Into operation through the river Right Hetta. After the termination of building of a highway New Urengoj – Nadym this year is planned to start building of a site Nadym – Salekhard. Also the project of erection of bridge transitions through the rivers Obs and Nadym will be developed.
