The Yamal boxers took two gold on interregional tournament in Kurgan

Successfully athletes of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area made a speech at the interregional youthful tournament "Boxing against Drugs" which took place in Kurgan from October 8 to October 12.

Yamal was represented by 20 boxers in age groups 1998-1999 and 1996-1997 of year of birth of Salekhard and Novy Urengoy. Following the results of competitions northerners won two gold medals and five bronze.

I confirmed the high level of Ashot Gevorgyan (49 kg, the trainer – the master of sports of the USSR Danis Nuriakhmetov). The Novy Urengoy athlete surely carried out all fights and, besides the Cup for the first place, was noted by a special prize of organizers - "The most technical participant of tournament".

Not less successfully Nikolay Litvinov (64 kg) from Salekhard acted. During the day the pupil of trainer Evgeny Sereda carried out two hardest duels with the rival from Omsk and with the athlete from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area.
