In days on Yamal there were 9 fires

According to the operational report of GKU "Yamalspas", in days on Yamal there were 9 new seats of fire. Yamalspas's landing and fire structure and attracted forces within a day liquidated 10 fires on the area of 147 hectares.

According to Information system of remote monitoring (ISDM-Rosleskhoz), for August 5, 2013 since the beginning of a fire-dangerous season 316 natural fires with an area passed by fire, 238 725 hectares are registered. Operating fires for today – 252 on the area of 228 635 hectares.

According to Regional point of dispatching management of GKU "Yamalspas" (RPDU GKU "Yamalspas"), since the beginning of a fire-dangerous season 489 natural fires on the area of 70 958 hectares are registered. Operating fires now – 39 on the area of 9 368 hectares.

Difference between statistics of RPDU GKU "Yamalspas" and data ISDM-Rosleskhoz by quantity and the area of forest fires explained in profile structures. According to specialists of branch, the difference in calculations is caused by several factors. As a result of storm fronts from July 20 to July 30, 2013 in the southwest and the southeast of the district in one stage there was a large number of natural fires which the system of remote monitoring shows ISDM-Rosleskhoz. To identify and in due time to survey thermopoints given out ISDM-Rosleskhoz it wasn't represented possible in communication by restriction of work of aircraft because of smoke of these areas. Now in process of change of the direction of a wind and possibility of approach of aircraft all thermopoints are surveyed. Data on natural fires are quickly brought in official statistics and transferred to all operational bodies.

At the same time, ISDM-Rosleskhoz isn't official source of data on identification of natural fires, experts note. It is only auxiliary system of monitoring on possible identification of natural fires on thermopoints with the greatest error. They need to be surveyed naturno for confirmation and entering in the corresponding forms of the reporting. Such fact: except other, the system ISDM-Rosleskhoz specifies objects of the enterprises of energy industry, namely torch installations. And them on Yamal much, the difference in number of thermopoints and the area passable by fire is as a result formed.

Besides, the essential divergence of reporting data of information system and the data provided by RPDU of Yamalspas partly is explained by what even after fires are put out by landing and fire structure, ISDM-Rosleskhoz keeps them on control in the category "acting" not less than 10 days. That is are summarized operating and extinguished.

All territory of forest fund of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area is carried to a zone of aviation monitoring. Determination of the areas of operating fires in areas of aviation forest conservation, is carried out by the pilot-observer aerovizualno from the aircraft with use of the patrol card, the GPS navigator, and also by data ISDM-Rosleskhoz. After natural survey of forest fire operational data (the forest area, number of quarter, a fire area) about the found forest fire are transferred by the pilot-observer to regional point of dispatching management where they are processed and transferred to all involved services for acceptance of immediate measures.

Besides, as experts of branch, according to Instructions on detection of the forest fires approved by the order of Federal service of forestry, and Instructions by determination of the areas passed by fires in the territory of forest fund specified, exact determination of the areas passable by fires, is made directly after their elimination. After elimination of all forest fires the areas passed by fire in 2013, will be surveyed about their specification and adjustment then control data will be presented to Rosleskhoz.

The general group of forces involved in works on forest conservation from fires, makes 671 persons, of them on providing – 123 persons. Directly at suppression works the 548th expert: Yamalspas's 290 employees, and also 258 attracted. Including 96 fire paratroopers of the Tyumen and Sverdlovsk air bases, 132 experts of FBU "Avialesookhran" and 30 workers of a fire service of the autonomous area and November forestry. Since the season beginning by air forces it is made the 765th dumping from water drain devices of aircrafts, water lump – 18802 tons.

The general situation with natural forest fires on Yamal is under control. Threats to settlements and objects of economy aren't present. Nevertheless, we remind that the mode of an emergency situation acts on all territory of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area in the woods of regional character. Visit of the woods, cultivation of fires is strictly forbidden.
