In YANAO the season of forest fires has begun

The forest fire first in 2010 is registered in territory of Yamal-Nenets autonomous region.

The fire the area of 2 hectares has occurred in territory of the Vyngapurovsky local forest area in Purovsky area. By the present moment ignition is liquidated. The head of press-service GU of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia on YANAO has informed Andrey Gorbunov to agency that principal causes of forest fires in district are dry thunder-storms.

«Probably that such thunder-storm became the reason, but also the human factor too cannot be excluded», – has noted A.Gorbunov. As he said, last year the first forest fire has occurred for some days earlier.
