Salekhard and Labytnangi was connected by an ice crossing

Yesterday on Yamal the ice crossing on the river Ob between the cities of Salekhards — Labytnangi has opened.

As the press-service of governor YANAO informs, movement through a crossing is authorized for all kinds of vehicles in lump to 3 tons, except for category vehicles «D».

Let's note, traditionally ice crossing opens in the first decade of December. This year thanks to the established colds we managed to open it even hardly earlier. It, certainly, will facilitate the transport message between Salekhard and Labytnangi.

As practice of last years shows, annually during the winter period of time in autonomous region 6 km, and 52 ice crossings from which 27 — are on winter highways of territorial value and 25 on departmental roads are equipped about 13 winter highways, the general extent 2100.
